Online Dating - Has anyone had a boyfriend or girlfriend online?

I am Just curious if anyone has met some people from online or had an online boyfrined or girlfriend before.I had an online boyfriend %26amp; he move from Texas to Pennsylvania %26amp; we are married :-) It would probably bore you if I said how this came about.Anyway I have met two people on here. One was nice %26amp; everyone wanted me to go out with him cause he lived an hour away from me but I only liked him as a friend.Then I met My husband we had sent pictures over the computer %26amp; we decided to meet. Ok I will tell you.we met online on a program called Firetalk Which after I started talking to him it didn't exsit anymore.We talked on the internet for hours %26amp; the first time he called me was when 9/11 went on.He thought maybe a plan had went down near me or something %26amp; wanted to know if I was alright.He came up April for my birthday 2002,Then August 2002 %26amp; Ended up staying.Got Married June 14th 2003.Theres more too the story but I only get so much to right.Yeah I know sounds boring but oh well :-p

I met a guy online when I was with my family living in the Middle East. He was fun to chat with, but it never went any where. At one point, we both just seemed to stop writing.
Reply:actually, even though I am married and not looking, it sounds refreshing! so often I hear the opposite, how women are swindled into falling in love with men who post phony model pictures (and always somehow end up in Nigeria or nearby) and then take them for all of their money while having a long distance romantic relationship! (I co-own an anti-cyber scammer group)


But I have also met people in Real LIfe who I have met online, other women my age, although they were otherwise social occasions (like parties) so I know how rewarding some internet relationships can be!

Reply:Yes of course there are a lot of them out there, who chat, met and finally wed. I've heard a few of them, and lately my husband too with a girl young enough to be our daughter! He chat, call, met and wed....oh well .... what the heck.





I dont mean to spoil your cheerful mood now but some people really get it right, while some people always never fail to mess around.





I wish you all the happiness, its 4 yrs now the marriage, hopefully both you will stay as loving couple forever. Just remember, always check on each other's chat page ..... Who knows, incase....
