Online Dating - Has anyone had a boyfriend or girlfriend online?

I am Just curious if anyone has met some people from online or had an online boyfrined or girlfriend before.I had an online boyfriend %26amp; he move from Texas to Pennsylvania %26amp; we are married :-) It would probably bore you if I said how this came about.Anyway I have met two people on here. One was nice %26amp; everyone wanted me to go out with him cause he lived an hour away from me but I only liked him as a friend.Then I met My husband we had sent pictures over the computer %26amp; we decided to meet. Ok I will tell you.we met online on a program called Firetalk Which after I started talking to him it didn't exsit anymore.We talked on the internet for hours %26amp; the first time he called me was when 9/11 went on.He thought maybe a plan had went down near me or something %26amp; wanted to know if I was alright.He came up April for my birthday 2002,Then August 2002 %26amp; Ended up staying.Got Married June 14th 2003.Theres more too the story but I only get so much to right.Yeah I know sounds boring but oh well :-p

I think everyone has their story to tell. Yours sounds so romantic...kinda like something you would find in a movie. My online dating experience has not been so kind. I met the guy through Yahoo! I was young and stupid (haven't we all been there?). Well anyway about two weeks into talking online and on the phone we decided to meet. We started dating right afterward. Then things didn't go so well as his "front" started to turn into the real him. It ended two months into the relationship in a tragic way. I went to his house one night and his friend was there. He told me that my boyfriend would be back in five minutes and only stepped out to get milk. Five minutes turned into fourty-five and I got sick of waiting for him. So I told his friend I would leave and to tell him I was here. I went to use the restroom and when I came back his friend was in the hallway. That night I was raped. It happened so suddenly and to make it worse...his friend got away with it. Why? Because my boyfriend told the police that he was there the whole time and nothing happened. Something like "I was only trying to get his friend in trouble because I was jealous". Well the investigator being a big buff "high on himself" man told me I was a complete liar and he dropped the case. I was only 16...





I haven't been able to share that in a long time. Since then I have met a great guy through a friend and we plan to tie the knot eventually. But like I said before, everyone's story is different. I hope things work out between you and your husband, because he sounds like a great guy. : )

We met on a program called Paltalk.com. Met lots of friends on there too!
