So from my reading all over online, i have gathered that Konami is very smart. From what i can tell, they are going to get everyone to pre-order MGS4 to get access to the beta test online and the dvd 2.0 or whatever, then on release day, these people will get MGS4. Then, seperately, they will sell the online part of the game, the one they know most people want. I know lots of people can't wait for the single player, but there must be others like myself that get the game, go straight to online and dont look back. So i guess the question is, if you pre-order it to get the beta, will you have a choice of Metal Gear Online or MGS4? and, will they release the two at the same time i guess?

As far as I know, no, if you get the beta, it's only MGS4. You're right, Konami went really smart, marketing wise at least, and they are selling these as two totally separate games. As far as I know, even the release dates for the two games are different, and I'm sure we've still got a lot of waiting to do for either.
