When I use the 'stealth' setting and only allow certain of my friends on my friends list to see me... what does "Online to everyone else" mean? Does that mean, people who are not currently on my friends list or who 'once were' that might still have me on their list... can see me online???

If so... how do i keep those not on my list from seeing me online???
What does, "Online to everyone else" mean?
It means that only the people you allow to see you......are the only ones that will. To be on the save side the best thing to do to keep people from seeing your on line is to go to those individual people and left click on their name and it will pop out for you to change how those people see you, but as a reminder. You will have to change that when you want those people to see you. It won't reset itself.
Reply:When you delete people from your friends list, you remain on THEIR list until they delete you, so yes, they can continue to see you online. To avoid this, set yourself as invisible, and then use your stealth settings to appear online to those friends whom you wish to see you. Then IM will say:

Reply:only peeps selected.........no one else can see you....How old are you?
Reply:it means that only the people you have selected can see you online that's all,no one else sees you online
